Any moment now the clock will strike midnight and millions of New Year’s resolutions will begin. Here at Mobile Posse, we’ve resolved to continue delivering you stellar mobile content to the homescreen. Be it dieting, making more money, or finding love, Mobile Posse surveyed nearly 650,000 people to determine their hopes for 2012. Each year, nearly 45% of Americans make a New Year’s resolution aiming to improve their life. The main focus? Health and well-being. Of the 172,000 responses, 28.64% of our users wish to cut back on overeating come January 1st while 22.59% hope to kick the habit and snuff out those cigarettes. On the flip side, nearly 162,000 users weighed in on their plans to lose weight and 34.57% feel happy in their own skin voting they have no plans to change in the New Year. Yet, it’s no shock 29.84% disagree and hope to shed some pounds. Did you know only 12% of those good intentions are achieved? With a little hard work, we hope the 30% who voted to become more financially secure will find fatter wallets in the New Year. Getting healthier comes in at a close second with 30.06% of our users resolving to keep the doctor away. And when it comes to love and relationships, 48.27% plan to enjoy life just as it is. While 22.20% hope to find love in the coming year. We wish you the best of luck in 2012, but remember there’s always next year! | What is Mobile Posse?Learn More> |
