Temperatures are dropping! Cold & Flu Season is upon us, but that’s nothing to sniffle at. The results of our latest poll show us at MobilePosse how our users get through it. Stock up on tissues, some of these numbers may surprise you!

Each year millions line up for their flu shot, including 21.5% of our users who trust vaccines to keep them well and protected against illness. However, more than a quarter of the 143,000 polled feel vaccines could potentially make them sick… or worse!

An apple a day doesn’t always keep the doctor away. When a cold or flu does strike, 35.2% of our users seek medical care with their family physician. Yet, devastatingly, 9.6% vote that they cannot afford medical help when ill.

Get out the hand sanitizer! Astonishingly, due to the risk of lost wages more than 35% of the 150,667 polled will report to work despite feeling under the weather. Thankfully, a close 34% insist on rest to get well.

When it comes to treatment, nearly 32% of you prefer good old fashioned rest, while tried and true chicken soup comes in second with 24.2% of the votes. Still, a good portion, 13.6% aims to forgo the remedies and tough it out this season.
