Mobile Posse is seeking a Project Manager who will be a key client-facing member of a cross-functional team and will serve as the primary project lead. The Project Manager is the expert ensuring all business and project goals are met while also managing all aspects of the project schedule, milestones, and scope to drive the development of applications for the country's largest mobile carriers. These applications will deliver messages that help customer relationship management (CRM), content retrieval and display, and targeted advertising. These applications are used by millions of customers on a daily basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Effectively communicates and controls project scope, schedules, assignments, and open issues both with the internal team and business stakeholders
• Creates processes and leverages agile tools specific to individual projects as needed for each project's success
• Works closely with the development team on a daily basis to ensure assignments are understood and milestones are met
• Manages all activities within a given project to maximize a project's velocity and measure its progress towards successful delivery
• Proactively communicates issues/risks and consults with stakeholders and team leads to find creative solutions
• Exercises authority to make decisions and resolve disputes; escalates issues to CTO when necessary
• Effectively leads and facilitates project meetings and presentations
• Manages support contracts and issue tracking for external clients
• Acts as the project expert retaining and communicating all project history

REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Experience:

• Requires a minimum of 5 years of project management experience. PMP Certified a Plus.
• Expert knowledge of Web practices and mobile technologies
• Independent thinking and decision making skills
• Mastery of project management best practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or XP
• Experience with mobile Web implementations a plus
• Professional experience with agile project management tools such as Pivotal Tracker or equivalent
• Strong analytical, planning, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast paced, high volume environment
