Mobile Posse, the idle-screen mobile advertising company, is offering a money-back guarantee program, so if the ad doesn’t get a minimum 10 percent click-through rate (CTR), the advertising fees will be refunded. A spokesperson for Mobile Posse told MocoNews that the average CTR is in the double digits with top-performing ads getting a CTR of 20 percent or more. The secrets to the high rates are simple—the service is opt-in and users get benefits such as discount coupons or contest prizes. The offer is temporary (running between January 15 and March 1) and only available for new customers.
