Revol Wireless and Mobile Posse Launch Full Commercial Rollout of Idle Screen Content and Advertising Solution
Mobile Posse brings content and offers to the top screen of cell phones via Revol Perks McLean, VA – Following the success of their joint consumer trial in spring 2007, Revol Wireless and Mobile Posse are now launching a full-scale commercial rollout of Mobile Posse’s permission-based mobile advertising and content solution. This partnership, branded as Revol Perks, will bring content, offers, and advertisements to the top level of Revol mobile devices. The software will be pre-loaded on handsets, and will be immediately available via download for existing subscribers to make it easy for customers to begin using this new solution. During Mobile Posse’s trial with Revol, subscribers were invited to opt-into the Revol Perks program and download software to their phones. Mobile advertising campaigns were executed by brands such as: Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Chili’s Restaurants, CBS, and Chevrolet, reaching thousands of Revol subscribers. Mobile Posse’s revolutionary technology increased Revol’s consumer loyalty and achieved an average total engagement rate of more than 40% for each campaign over the three month trial period. “The trial’s consumer response was very positive.
