Revol Wireless in Independence has committed to a long-term partnership with Mobile Posse Inc., a McLean, Va., company that makes mobile advertising software. The regional wireless provider launched a test version of Mobile Posse's service, branded Revol Perks, in March with 17 advertisers. Four more advertisers, Next Clothing, Popeye's, Elk & Elk and Ganley Credit Connection, have since started using the technology to make special offers to customers. With the service, customers can opt for periodic coupons, promotions and other content on their cell phone screens when their phones aren't in use.
