Animal control officers in New Hampshire were able to facilitate a reunion between a mother squirrel and the babies that were accidentally sealed inside a wall.

Sept. 5 (UPI) -- Animal control officers in New Hampshire were able to facilitate a reunion between a mother squirrel and the babies that were accidentally sealed inside a wall.

The Manchester Police Department said on social media the baby squirrels were accidentally sealed inside the wall of a barbershop during repairs.

"Thankfully, the barbershop management noticed the issue and opened the wall," police wrote.

Manchester Animal Control officers were then able to remove the babies from the wall and reunite them with their mother.
